400w Mole vari-soft LED zip light

The Mole-Richardson 400W Vari-Soft LED is a workhorse softlight designed for film, broadcast, and studio work. This retro design features a powerful output and exceptional color (CRI 97) with classic styling.

• Softlight fixture drawing 400 W (4 A max), 90–250 V AC, 50–60 Hz. 

• Light source: 4 proprietary 100 W LEDs capable of outputting variable color temperature between 2700 K and 5600 K. CRI: 97 at 2700 K, 95 at 5600 K.

• Output: wide, soft, wrap-around light from an 8″ × 16″ aperture and 170° beam angle (with 95% reflective white painted-aluminum reflector) — equivalent soft quality to a 2000 W tungsten softlite. 

• Dimming: smooth 0–100% dimming, flicker-free, via onboard control or DMX 2-channel (color temperature + intensity). 

• Construction: aluminum housing, passive-forced air cooling, IP30 rating, standard 0.625 in (16 mm) yoke mount, 20 ft (6 m) detachable powerCON-to-Edison cable included.
