A durable alternative to a traditional paper ball or InchChina Ball Inch lantern, the Chimera 1880 Standard Lantern offers a 360 Deg. full-diffusion body (full-chimera cloth).

Standard lanterns are almost completely spherical, allowing for an omnidirectional soft light. Hand-sewn with proprietary high-heat materials, the Chimera Standard Lanterns are compatible with all Strobe and Video Pro speed rings.

The kit also includes a removable skirt that allows you to flag either one or two of the Standard Lantern’s four sides. For proper lantern illumination, fixtures with fully-exposed bulbs or flash tubes are recommended.

500 watts max. For high wattage, use the 30 Inch version.
